C:T talks to Lior Navok, a young Israeli composer whose music has been performed by the likes of Radio Philharmonie Hannover NDR, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.

Following the successful horn workshop, we've now added samples of stangard horn (including stopped and muted), as well as the Wagner Tuba

We're delighted to present the results of our first ever workshop for composers. In June we put out a call for pieces, and last week leading UK horn player Tim Jackson came and recorded 7 pieces which you can now view and listen to online. Each page has a comments form at the bottom, and we'd love to get feedback from the composers themselves and other CT members.

The workshops were a great success and we hope to one for another instrument in the very near future. Stay tuned!

We've added a range of new percussion sounds to the Sound Bank, and also updated the layout to make browsing even easier.

The Violin Sound Bank now has scales for sul pont, sul tasto, tremolo and pizzicato - allowing you to hear how these effects sounds across the entire range of the violin.

C:T talks to Duo46, a violin and guitar duo specializing in contemporary music.

We are delighted to have a new interview with composer Augusta Read Thomas, one of the most outstanding younger generation US composers.

Augusta has had her work conducted by everyone from Boulez to Barenboim to Knussen and is currently Mead Composer-in-Residence with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra 1997- 2006.

We've now recorded a new collection of Violin sounds, for the sound bank. The first, showing legatoa and staccato in all registers are now online.
