Fall Call For Scores Wild Rumpus is happy to consider pieces by young/emerging composers that match our instrumentation (or a subset of it) for performance by the ensemble. Our instrumentation is: The Fresh Squeezed Opera Company is happy to accept compositions for voice for songs and operatic arias. We will be putting on a recital in November, 2014, New York. We will perform a number of submissions and announce one winner, who will receive a $250 cash prize. Entrants will be notified one month after submission deadline of results Our instrumentation is: Voices: Soprano, Mezzo, Tenor, Bari, Bass, Instruments: violin, viola, cello, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, and piano. Note: not all of the instruments have to be utilized. These are just the available instruments we have. The only requirement is that at least one voice type must be used. Application Materials For each piece, submit: Score (PDF) Recording — MIDIs acceptable OPTIONAL send a pdf and recording of one additional piece that you have written (please indicate that this is not your submission piece) |
