1. The laboratory Other music (associated with the ACT team UMR8218 Paris1/CNRS Music and Sound Arts) leads an investigation about noise. To participate, just send us a noisy personal composition, conceptual partition, diagram, drawing making noise or other forms of installation or performance that you seem relevant to this investigation. Your proposal should if possible be accompanied by a video or audio example. Selected contributions will be published on the laboratory L’Autre music. All these publications will result in a work paper presented at the conference « Noise » organized by the MAS to la Cité du Cinéma (Plaine Saint-Denis) on 4 and 5 December 2014 (date and venue to be confirmed). 2. L’Autre musique laboratory (in association with the ACTE UMR8218 Paris1/CNRS) leads an investigation about all the new forms of writing the sound and music distant from the traditional Western scoring. If you want to participate, just send us a graphic score, conceptual score, diagram, drawing… or other forms of writing that you judge relevant to the investigation. Your proposal has to offer the possibility of giving rise to a sound or musical interpretation. It should, if possible, be accompanied by an example of interpretation (video or audio). The selected works will be published on the laboratory L’Autre musique. All publications will give rise to a synthesis work in the form of a digital publication. |
