Andris Nelsons to be new CBSO Music Director
28-year old Latvian conductor Andris Nelsons has been announced as the new Music Director of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, starting in the 2008/9 season, replacing Sakari Oramo, who will stand down as music director at the end of this season following 10 years with the Orchestra.15/10/2007
