Universal launches new classics and jazz download site is a new download site set up by Universal Music, aiming to plug the gap in the market that itunes fails to cover well. The site claims to have over 125,000 tracks to download, and the prices range from an itunes-like 79p through to a couple of pounds for longer tracks.

Amongst the different sections there is a Contemporary Music section which currently appears to consist of a couple of featured records and a top 5, making it hard to browse the entire contemporary section, but perhaps these are early days.
