Pink Floyd frontman's opera staged in Poland

Former Pink Floyd front man Roger Waters became the latest artist from the popular world to attempt to switch tracks and join the ranks of classical composers, when his opera Ca ira was staged last night in the Grand Opera Theatre in Poznan. The work features a full symphony orchestra and chorus, as well as seven soloists.

"The action is set during the French Revolution but Rogers Waters says this is a show about looking for freedom in the modern world. "
