Film/TV Composer Shirley Walker Dies at 61

The American film/tv composer Shirley Walker has died from complications following a stroke aged 61. Walker's many film credits (as either composer, orchestrator or conductor) include Scrooged, Dick Tracy, Final Destination, Edward Scissorhands and many more. She also won a 'Daytime Emmy' for her music to the animated Batman series. Walker is thought of as one of the most prominent women in the highly competitive Hollywood music/scoring industry.
