Profile Hello, I`m a young British composer who takes his art very, seriously. My main musical influences are Elliott Carter and Gyorgy Ligeti, and while this is evident within my style, my style is my own. My compositions are based on concepts that deal with different aspects of the Human Condition. Schism, written in 2004 for solo clarinet, is situated in the midst of someone having a fit: the theme convulsing between the extremities of the instrument`s range, the void gradually becoming narrower.
