Profile London-based British conductor George Vass has been artistic director of the much-lauded Presteigne Festival since 1992 and is also founder artistic director of both Nova Music Opera and Orchestra Nova. During his professional life he has commissioned well over 200 new works and has released over thrity commercial recordings, which include a number of contemporary British works receiving their world premiere recording.
