Profile Sam Decter is a paper-and-pen composer from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
He spent some time at the Canadian Mennonite University, the University of Winnipeg, and the University of Manitoba.
Sam has worked as a telemarketer, a security guard, a summer camp counselor, a cook, a dishwasher and a concert promoter
while studying musical theory and structure.
His works have been performed across Canada, and there is a song about him on the new Degrassi soundtrack.
