Profile After 35 years as a trumpeter, Louis Babin retired from his career as an instrumentalist in order to devote himself to composition and teaching. He serves as lecturer of the DESS (Diplôme d’étude supérieure spécialisée) course in film music at the Université du Québec à Montréal and teaches music theory at Trebas Institute in Montreal. Louis Babin is currently Composer in Residence at the FACE School in Montreal.
