Profile Canadian composer Stacey Brown`s music has been described as "organic and deftly interwoven" and showing a "gift for skillful orchestration". Her varied and versatile musical output ranges from opera, to solo, vocal, chamber, and orchestral works, to music for dance, theatre, and film. Recent commissions and premieres include the Bicycle Opera Project, the Orchestre de la Francophonie, Ensemble Paramirabo, and Montreal`s Orchestre Metropolitain. Stacey Brown (BMUS, MMUS, DMUS) is an Associate Composer of the Canadian Music Centre and Vice-President of the Canadian League of Composers.
