“When we listen to Escalona Mijares` music, we shall pay special attention to his “internal ear” : The subtility of his musical thought is expressed in a palette of accoustic nuances and contrasts. His music is rewarded with an extreme internal dynamism that varies from impulsive interventions to a subtle refinement, up to the limit of audibility.”
