Composing for Horn Workshop now online

We're delighted to present the results of our first ever workshop for composers. In June we put out a call for pieces, and last week leading UK horn player Tim Jackson came and recorded 7 pieces which you can now view and listen to online. Each page has a comments form at the bottom, and we'd love to get feedback from the composers themselves and other CT members.

The workshops were a great success and we hope to one for another instrument in the very near future. Stay tuned!

Augusta Read Thomas Interview

We are delighted to have a new interview with composer Augusta Read Thomas, one of the most outstanding younger generation US composers.

Augusta has had her work conducted by everyone from Boulez to Barenboim to Knussen and is currently Mead Composer-in-Residence with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra 1997- 2006.
