Soak up the magical party atmosphere in Princes Street Gardens with family and friends – enjoy a picnic, and toast the electrifying conclusion to the International Festival 2017.

Renowned Scottish folk singer Karen Matheson, vocalist of Celtic supergroup Capercaillie, joins the Scottish Chamber Orchestra for traditional Scottish tunes and the world premiere of a new work composed for Karen by Capercaillie founder Donald Shaw. The evening continues with an epic 40 minute fireworks display specially choreographed to beloved classics – including delectable dance music from Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty.

Get Edinburgh’s most thrilling view for this special evening of sparkling celebration.

Over 100,000 fireworks launched from the castle make this one of the biggest fireworks concerts in the world. Around a quarter of a million people gather across the city and beyond to share in this annual International Festival finale each year.
