Britten Sinfonia Beethoven's Third is paired with Barry's ferocious orchestral masterpiece Chevaux de Frise in this second collaboration between Adès and Britten Sinfonia.
Arguably the symphony that changed everything and kick-started the Romantic period in music is the focus of this concert. Conducting Britten Sinfonia, Adès places Beethoven’s towering Eroica symphony alongside Gerald Barry’s Chevaux de Frise.
