New Music, New Directions
St Magnus Festival St Magnus Cathedral, Kirkwall United Kingdom The Assembly Project Eight new works conducted by eight student conductors. This concert presents music hot off the press. Each new work has been written in the preceding eleven days of the St Magnus Composers’ Course and represents an intense collaboration with the musicians of The Assembly Project and the course tutors. A participant from Orkney Conductors’ Course will conduct each new work. Watch this space for the talents of the future.
