Paul Thomas Anderson's Oscar-winning film is accompanied by a live orchestral performance of Jonny Greenwood's score. A masterwork of dramatic tension, instrumental experimentation and musical bricolage – it integrates works by Arvo Pärt and Brahms – the soundtrack is realised in a special performance edition by the London Contemporary Orchestra, conducted by Hugh Brunt.

London Contemporary Orchestra has been performing Greenwood’s compositions since 2008, and in 2012 recorded his score for The Master (Greenwood’s second collaboration with Paul Thomas Anderson). Dedicated to the promotion of new music and cross-disciplinary collaboration, the LCO has collaborated with a distinguished array of artists, including Radiohead (on A Moon Shaped Pool), Secret Cinema, Actress, Vivienne Westwood, members of Arcade Fire, Boiler Room, Goldfrapp, Terry Riley, Beck and Foals. Winner of the Ensemble category at the Royal Philharmonic Society Music Awards, the LCO’s soundtrack output also features Theeb, Slow West, Macbeth and Assassin’s Creed.
