Kings Place Kings Cross, London United Kingdom London Sinfonietta As John Adams once described it, minimalism is to music what spring cleaning is to our environment. What better way to start the new year afresh than two concerts of minimalism’s most celebrated composers, whose music holds listeners in a joyous, hypnotic soundworld. The first is a performance of Terry Riley’s In C, a work that defined a new style of composition. The first half will consist of works which were inspired by, or written as a tribute to, In C.
