Piano aficionados will want to hear the NY premiere of Nikolai Kapustin's jazz-influenced sonata for flute and piano, specifically written for Immanuel Davis and Stephen Gosling. Also featured on the program are the new sounds of Kenji Bunch and Carl Vine, and two intriguing works for flute and strings by Villa-Lobos and Erwin Schulhoff.
