Present Music Ensemble Singer, composer and electronic instrument performer, Amy X Neuburg, bridges the boundaries between classical, experimental and popular music. Her wildly entertaining 'avant-cabaret' songs combine her interests in language and theater, expressive use of music technology, and exploration of multiple genres using the many colors of her four-octave vocal range. Amy is currently composing a solo piano/electronic piece to be premiered at our Season Finale. The Present Music Ensemble will also perform Kamran Ince's new quartet and Steve Reich's 2x5.
