Empire City Men's Chorus - Christopher Clowdus, Artistic Director - Christopher Johnson - organist

Concluding its 17th season of concerts, the Empire City Men's Chorus premieres a newly-commissioned choral work, co-written by two awarding winning composers, exploring the timely and politically-charged issue of marriage equality. Based on secular poetry and prose concerning marriage, relationships and partnerships of all communities and including texts by Gertrude Stein and Walt Whitman, the piece adds a classical music voice to the growing dialogue around us.
