New York City Opera's VOX Contemporary American Opera Lab
Skirball Center for the Performing Arts NYC United States Immerse yourself in exhilarating new works at this contemporary opera lab that offers composers and librettists the opportunity to workshops their compositions, hearing them performed by City Opera's soloists, orchestra, and chorus.
This year's lab features ten selections that push the boundaries of American opera, eight of which have never been professionally produced.
Two additional works are presented as part of VOX Second Look, which showcases pieces that have not had another production or have significantly evolved since their initial VOX premiere.Brian Current : Inventory
