On one weekend (8th and 9th of May 2010 from 12pm until midnight), the ensemble musikFabrik along with many guests will perform Karlheinz Stockhausen's cycle KLANG, in which he intended to compose music for the 24 hours of the day, for the first time in its entirety. In nine different venues in Cologne the various "Hours" can be heard, six of them for the first time. This kind of "wandering" concert gives the members of the audience the opportunity to individually decide which "Hours" it wants to hear. There will be one ticket for each day, valid for all performance venues. Whoever is able to attend both days will have the first opportunity to experience all 21 of the "Hours" that Stockhausen composed.
