The Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP), the nation’s leading orchestra dedicated exclusively to performing, commissioning, and recording new music of the 21st century, turns its focus to its home town by honoring some of the city’s top composers and performers by hosting the 10th annual Boston Connection concert Friday, January 25th @ 8:00pm at Jordan Hall (30 Gainsborough Street). As New England Conservatory’s (NEC) affiliate orchestra for new music, BMOP celebrates music by NEC composers past and present, and an NEC soloist chosen by competition.
