Description
A Spring Gigue, as its title implies, is exuberant music full of vitality. In terms of meter and tempo, A Spring Gigue has 'a rolling spring in its step' as it were. There are a few modulations here but none of the resultant fingerings are cumbersome, as there is always time to get them in and out of place. The overall range of A Spring Gigue is full without being capricious (nothing above a high a) and its character is fun, yet stately!
