Description
This piece is full of heavy weighted emotion. It follows typical sonata form, only without the repeat. This piece features two "prayer" sections based off of Notre Dame Organum. The dramatic dynamics and swift moving passages add drama and suspense to the piece, conveying the tormenting emotion of death. This is a very showy piece, but not terribly difficult.
