These pieces are dedicated to many people who have helped, guided and inspired me over a long period. I do this with gratitude. I am now writing a new sequence of 33 pieces entitled ‘The Glorious Sequence’ which will be for my ensemble ‘The Glorious Company.’ (James Douglas 2007). On November 17th 2006, I launched a unique selection of music entitled: ‘The Highlands and Islands Sequence’ which comprises 66 works written between 1968 and 2006, all depicting and written for this stunning and most special area. ”
