Peter Nagle was born in Birmingham in 1970, and studied composition with David Harold Cox and Michael Finnissy. His music has been performed at various places throughout the country, including the Huddersfield and Bath Festivals, and works of his have been premièred by such ensembles as Elision and the Goldberg Ensemble. Among recent work, “The complete consort dancing together”, was commissioned for the 50th season of Kensington Symphony Orchestra and premièred by them in London in November 2005, while the solo viola piece 'Le tombeau de Feldman' was composed for the young British viola player Toby Deller, and will be premiered in Februray 2007.
