Extracts from "Sacrifices"
"Sacrifices" is a single-movement work for SATB chorus, baritone soloist & orchestra, written to commemorate the centenary of WW1. The librettos is made up of poetry from the war poets of the time. This sample comes from the premiere, given by the Ripon Choral Society in Ripon Cathedral, under the direction of John Dunford. The soloist is Thom Meredith.

Patrick Lee Biography

Musical education at the Royal Academy of Music and London University Institute of Education (a long time ago!). Head of Music in three different schools; until 2006, Deputy Headteacher at Crawshaw High School, Pudsey, Leeds; now retired and writing/performing full time.
Winner of the biennial Cornwall International Male Voice Chorus Festival Composition Competition in 2010 and 2012.
Musical Director of the Micklefield Male Voice Choir, 2012-13.
