Calling aspiring young composers, age 14-19, interested in exploring further with expert tuition, leading towards applying for undergraduate study. Opportunities, through Martin Read Foundation, to join with young composers at Royal College of Music 's Junior Department, London, Spring Term '20, to write a new 2-minute piece for solo percussionist. MRF awarded composers will provided with mentoring from established composers, and composer-performer workshops led by eminent practitioners in the field of percussion. The final workshop and pubic concert will be led Dame Judith Weir who is MRF Patron and Master of the Queen's Music. More information and how to register can be found at: |
