Leatherhead Choral Society is announcing a composition competition for a new work to be performed at a gala concert on July 7th 2018 as part of its 90th anniversary celebrations. The competition is free to enter and is open to all composers. The composer of the winning entry will be presented with a cash prize of £350 and the opportunity to workshop the piece with the choir. The competition will be judged by a panel consisting of the internationally-known composer Alan Bullard along with the choir’s musical director Ian Assersohn and chair Lindsay Sampson.
