Rules • Original Compositions Only (no arrangements, no old compositions - must be composed for this competition) • For 2 - 8 Trombones • 2:30 - 7:30 Duration • Deadline: September 1, 2017 at 12:00am EST To Enter • Fill Out Entry Form • Send The Following To submissions@classicaltrombone.com: • Composition Title • PDF of Score & Parts • Recording or MIDI audio as .mp3 file • Composer Photo Prizes • 1st Place - $200, October 7, 2017 YouTube Performance, Website Feature • 2nd/3rd Place - YouTube Performance (potential), Website Feature • Runners Up - Website Feature Judging Submissions will be ranked by a panel of judges on general quality and potential. The finalists will be announced the third week of September, and the final results will be released October 7th. Judges' sheets will be made available to the finalists, but due to the vast number of submissions, no other feedback should be expected. |
