Call to Composers for submissions to Production Music Catalogue Deadline 27/05/16 Evolution Media Music is a dynamic production music house with an experienced team and a growing network of sub-publishers. A collective of composers, producers and engineers ourselves, we are looking to grow our roster of talented contributors, producing albums to specific briefs. The Briefs Please note we are looking for on-brief submissions of specific track(s) only – no generic showreel applications please. We are accepting submissions of tracks on 3 current briefs. The Process Selected tracks will be developed closely with the composers to completion, to a guideline schedule as follows: - Submission of title(s) - Tracks shortlisted, composers informed and sent contract, feedback given. If your music is selected we will be in touch within 3 weeks of the submission deadline - Delivery of 1st round revisions, followed by feedback - Delivery of 2nd round revisions, further feedback if necessary. - In certain cases, depending on how much progress is made between each version, more revisions may be needed to progress the material to the stage that we feel is ready for client presentation. - Approvals, Delivery of Final wavs, release. If your track(s) reach final approval for release, then as well as the final master we will require 60'' and 30'' versions, B mixes and/or stems, along with metadata (key, tempo, instrumentation, description etc), and an appropriate title for the track. We retain the right to re-arrange, edit and re-mix. Deal Terms You will receive 100% of the writer's share on all mechanical and performance income received from the Publisher(s) and PROs (Performing Rights Organisations). The split is 50% writer(s), 50% publisher(s). Copyright - Will be owned by Evolution Media Music and/or one of its affiliate collaborator partners. Terms will also include a contribution to distribution, marketing and transaction costs, recoupable from composer mechanical royalties. Should your submission(s) be selected for development, we will send our standard writer contract for your review at the start of the process. New briefs will go out regularly, so there are opportunities for continued contribution. |
