The Charles B. Olson Young Composers Contest is sponsored by the Encore Wind Ensemble of Woodbury, Minnesota. This contest has been created to encourage developing young composers 15-22 years of age and promote the performance of high quality wind band literature in honor of the ensemble's founding conductor, Charles B.
