The composition: 5-7 min in length; in joyous 'overture' style. KZN Philharmonic will read submitted scores in mid August 2015, where a winner will be selected. The winner's work will be performed as the overture to the Youth Concerto Festival (part of the World Symphony Series). The winner will be flown to Durban for this performance on 17th September 2015. All participants whose works are read will receive an archive CD of their work. More information: |
