Kinokophonone welcomes submissions by field recordists, phonographers and artists to share in a collective listening experience at the next Kinokophonography listening event at the Whitworth in Manchester. Works can be un-edited field recordings or compilations. The submission deadline is 11 August 2015. Please note that we have stereo and surround playback capability. If you would like to submit a surround file, please indicate that in your track description and send us a stereo preview. Theme Submissions The theme for the upcoming Kinokophonography is: objects. Interpret this theme as you wish, and set out with your recording device. Next, follow the link below to the submission form and follow the directions. Tracks can be up to 4 minutes in duration. For selection purposes, please upload both .mp3 and .wav versions of your track. Please label files as your surname_tracktitle. Please fill in each field in the submission form. Open Call For the open call, recordings can be made anywhere and can be of anything you feel should be heard! To respond to the open call, follow the link below to the submission form and follow the directions. Tracks can be up to 3 minutes in duration.
