The conservatoire wishes to appoint a part-time (0.5 FTE) Senior/Principal Lecturer for the Popular Music pathway on its BA (Hons) Music programme. The successful candidate will lecture for 9 hours per week, have additional managerial and administrative responsibilities, and report to the Popular Music Curriculum Leader.

This is an exciting opportunity for a specialist Pop Music practitioner to enhance the development and running of the conservatoire’s popular music undergraduate provision. Full details are provided in the job description and person specification available on the panel to the right.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in one or more of the following disciplines:

-Composition
-Performance
-Socio-cultural and historical elements of Popular Music
