#ChipShoptheMusical is a brand new musical, fusing UK Grime and Rodgers & Hammerstein with chip shop sounds and urban choreography. Freedom Studios are developing #ChipShoptheMusical in collaboration with co-producer, writer and lead artist, Emma Hill. The show takes place in a real chip shop, where the audience are served fish, chips and a drink by the cast during the course of the play’s action. It tells the story of Gram and Ayla – a disappointed chip shop owner and his new recruit, a young woman who dreams of a credible grime music career, but has no idea how to make this happen. Freedom Studios now require a Composer/Sound Designer to join the second stage of development on this project. Fees & Expenses: Fee - £2,000 Hotel accommodation will be provided and booked by Freedom Studios for the R&D period. Reasonable travel and subsistence expenses will be reimbursed – on production of receipts and by prior agreement.
