Details: 1st Prize: $400 and performance on Finalists Concert 2nd Prize: $250 and performance on Finalists Concert Audience Prize: $150 and performance on Finalists Concert

Judging: The first round of judging will be decided by a panel of composition faculty representing CU-Boulder, CSU, UNC, and DU. 3-5 pieces will be selected to be performed at a Finalists Concert during Colorado Clarinet Days (September 27-28, 2014 at CU Boulder). Guest judge Eric Mandat will decide 1st and 2nd Prize and the audience will vote on the Audience Prize.

Finalists Announced: August 21, 2014

Eligibility: Any composer currently residing in Colorado is eligible, except for composers teaching composition at a college or university. Composers of any age are welcome to apply.

Content Guidelines: Pieces may be for Bb clarinet, A clarinet, or bass clarinet. They may be solo pieces or duets of any combination of those instruments. The pieces may be up to 6-minutes in length and must have been written within the last 5 years but not yet professionally recorded.

Colorado Clarinet Days:
Colorado Clarinet Days (CCD) will be held at the University of Colorado Boulder College of Music on September 27 and 28, 2014, at the CU College of Music.
