As part of the 2014 Open Circuit Festival, the University of Liverpool is pleased to announce a call for stereo acousmatic works. The selected works will be programmed during the festival (October 2014) and composers invited to perform them through the department of music’s sound diffusion system. The maximum duration of works is to be 10 minutes, only stereo acousmatic works .aif/.wav 24bit 44.1khz will be accepted. Please send a download link via webtransfer or similar to info@opencircuitfestival.co.uk to a .zip containing the following: A aif/wav file of the work to be considered Title and duration of work A Brief programme note 200 words max Short Biography 200 words max A contact email address Composers must fund their own travel and accommodation. Only works by composers in attendance will be performed. Composers will be notified via email of selection. The deadline for receipt of submission is midnight on August 1st 2014 Good Luck! |
