We are looking for an experienced Sibelius typesetter and arranger who is also a guitar specialist to work on a freelance basis arranging out-of-copyright pieces. The pieces - mostly in classical and traditional styles - will generally be suitable for amateur or intermediate players. A suitable candidate will have a wide-ranging knowledge of guitar technique, and be able to arrange a piece to an appropriate technical level for the instrument. Knoweldge of writing and arranging for other plucked stringed instruments, in particular, banjo, ukelele and mandolin would also be highly advantageous. The candidate should also be able to offer suggestions for interesting and enjoyable pieces to set or arrange.
